Amir Milo – CEO
Before founding Equivio, Amir co-founded and was vice president of marketing and business development at Xyleme, a company specializing in XML repositories for integration of semi-structured content. At Xyleme, Amir was responsible for product strategy, the development of sales channels, and the penetration into new markets and regions.
Prior to Xyleme, Amir served as a director of software development at Amdocs, the world's leading provider of billing systems to the telecommunications industry. In this role, Amir led major billing projects for tier one telecommunications companies in the U.S., Europe and the Middle East. As the account manager for these projects, Amir had overall responsibility for the customer, including sales, development, implementation and ongoing customer service.
Before joining Amdocs, Amir headed R&D for the Canadian company, Teleride-Sage, which develops software products for the transportation industry.
Amir holds bachelor's and master's degrees in computer science from the Technion in Israel, and an MBA from the University of Toronto.
Yiftach Ravid, PhD –
Vice President, Engineering
Yiftach is a co-founder of Equivio, where he has responsibility for product engineering. Prior to Equivio, Yiftach was vice president of R&D at GammaSite, which develops categorization and tagging software. In this role, Yiftach was responsible for product management and development. Yiftach was also responsible for exploring new technologies for GammaSite, such as Text Extraction and Sentiment Analysis.
Before joining GammaSite, Yiftach served as a researcher at IBM's Research Laboratory in Israel. He conducted research on information sharing within communities, and was also involved in a number of projects in the area of Internet Security. Prior to IBM, over a period of 10 years, Yiftach held a range of research and engineering positions at AFIC, EIT, and Motorola Semiconductor Israel.
Yiftach holds a Ph.D in computer science from Tel-Aviv University in Israel.
Warwick Sharp –
Vice President, Marketing and Business Development
Before founding Equivio, Warwick was vice president of product marketing at Amdocs, the world's leading provider of billing systems to the telecommunications industry. In this role, he was responsible for marketing of the company's flagship billing line of products. Warwick's responsibilities included product strategy and management, positioning, competitive analysis, market campaigns, product alliances, ecosystem development and thought leadership programs. He led the launch of Enabler, Amdocs new billing product, taking it from the conceptualization stage to market leader in 18 months. Warwick also led the company's penetration of new markets such as prepaid billing and online charging.
Prior to this role, in a 16-year career at Amdocs, Warwick served in a range of positions including presales, marketing communications and investor relations, and was a member of the core team for the company's IPO in 1998.
Warwick holds an Honors degree in Politics from the University of Western Australia and a master's degree in Political Thought from Tel-Aviv University in Israel. He has also completed advanced post-graduate business studies at Bar-Ilan University in Israel.
