The grouping of near-duplicate documents significantly reduces costs and errors in litigation review.

AmDoc is offering near-duplicate detection as part of its electronic discovery service. The new service offering processes a collection of documents, grouping the near-duplicates together. Near-duplicate files typically represent between 20 to 50 percent of email and document repositories. The grouping of documents into sets of near-duplicates enables a coherent, systematic review process, significantly reducing the time and cost required to review a large document collection.
