Text Solutions, Inc. Partners with Equivio to enhance data management offering with near-duplicate detection technology

Text Solutions, Inc. to deploy Equivio’s solution for detecting and grouping near-duplicate documents in defense, intelligence and civilian government agencies

Washington May 9, 2005 - Text Solutions, Inc. (TSI), a leading provider of unstructured data solutions, and Equivio Ltd., a provider of enterprise-grade software for detection of near-duplicate files, today announced a strategic partnership. Under the terms of the agreement, TSI will deploy Equivio’s product as part of its offering to defense, intelligence and civilian government agencies.

By identifying and grouping near-duplicate documents, Equivio’s software will help government agencies make sense of the vast amounts of data they collect. TSI will include Equivio’s near-duping capabilities as part of its unstructured data product offering. TSI will offer the Equivio near-duping product both as an integrated offering together with ClearForest business intelligence solutions, and in standalone mode. In addition, TSI will provide consulting and system integration services to assist in implementation of the product.
